Here is a status page incident you can post, drafted for a client facing audience.
Our SMS provider, Textmagic, is currently experiencing a service outage caused by an issue at their upstream server provider. The outage affects all of their services, including outbound SMS.
As a knock on effect, OASIS is currently unable to deliver SMS messages. This impacts:
- Multi factor authentication codes sent by SMS
- Any SMS notifications or alerts configured within your OASIS system
OASIS itself remains fully available and all other functionality is working normally. Users who have an authenticator app registered for multi factor authentication can continue to sign in as usual. Any messages queued during the outage are expected to be delivered once Textmagic restore service.
Textmagic have confirmed they are working on a fix. We are monitoring their status page and will update this incident as soon as we have more information.
If you are unable to sign in and have no alternative authentication method available, please contact the IT Works support desk.
